Who we are

The Association of Professional Dog Walkers and sitters™ was started by a small group of like minded dog walkers, who believed they were underrepresented as professional dog walkers and sitters. Because we came from a dog walking background, we have been able to tailor the association to our requirements. Since our inception we have continued to expand by giving our members what they need at a low cost point.

Our Mission

• The Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters™ mission is to help support all those involved in the pet care industry and to offer a pool of resources and a voice in what is a relatively new and fast growing service sector.
  We aim to provide an industry standard for our service sector and therefore help our members and in turn their customers understand what they can expect from us.
  
  It has to be said that most people that are in the dog walking industry, are there due to their love of dogs and that in itself means we attract some of the very best in this service sector.
  At the Association of Professional Dog Walkers & Sitters™ we want to tap into this rich resource and use it to improve what we do and help those coming into our industry.
